The Edmonton World Health Organization Simulation is an interactive three day mock United Nations conference for post-secondary and highschool students to debate global health topics. Our aim is to simulate the political, social, cultural and economic realities that define the world of global health policy. In addition, we hope to expose students to potential future related interdisciplinary career options. We operate as a transnational project of the International Federation of Medical Students, through which we hope to send resolutions created during our conference to the actual WHO. Edmonton WHO is also a project under the nonprofit, Edmonton Simulation Conferences.
